Motion Care Plan
The product(s) you have purchased includes 2-year coverage against defects in materials and workmanship and the associated labour, and 5-year coverage against defects in material and workmanship and the associated labour for the wheelchair frame.
The Motion Care Plan* is extended to the original purchaser of the product(s) and is non-transferable. The plan covers only defects in materials and workmanship. It does not cover any damage to the product(s) caused by (a) use, misuse, neglect, negligence, accidents, abrasion, normal wear and tear, scratches, improper installation, improper storage, improper handling, abnormal physical stress, transport damage, or use contrary to any instructions issued by Motion or the manufacturer, (b) custom modifications or unapproved field modifications, (c) repairs, maintenance or alterations performed by a person other than a representative of a Motion Service Centre, or (d) use with any product or hardware that has not been approved by Motion in writing.
*The Motion Care Plan provides coverage in addition to a product’s manufacturer warranty; see owner’s manual for details. To make a claim under the Motion Care Plan, the original purchaser is required to notify Motion, in writing, of any alleged defect in materials and workmanship within ten (10) days from the date the purchaser discovers, or upon reasonable inspection should have discovered, such alleged defect (but in any event before the expiration of the coverage period) and return the product(s) to a Motion Service Centre, in accordance with Motion instructions. If Motion determines, to its reasonable satisfaction, that a valid claim exists, Motion will, in its sole discretion, either (i) repair or replace the defective product (or the defective part) or (ii) credit or refund the price of such product less any discounts, rebates, or credits.
